Congratulations to our 8th-grade students!
As the end of the school year is fast approaching, we would like to send our 8th graders off in style! Friday, June 10, the 8th graders will have the opportunity to attend a cruise on Lake George on the Lac du Saint Sacrament.
The 8th graders will depart from Maple Avenue Middle School by 10:00 am, cruise on Lake George from 11 am – 1 pm, then return to Maple Avenue Middle School at approximately 2 pm. A DJ and chicken picnic buffet will be provided; gluten and nut free are choices are available but please list any allergens in the required field when registering. The cost of this trip is $45 per student.
We are happy to say that, with the implementation of the end-of-year field trips and celebrations, we have achieved a greater sense of normalcy. Please encourage your child to continue to demonstrate the 4 Bs of Maple Avenue Middle School; Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Kind! Students’ participation in their grade level field trip will be reviewed as needed to ensure the safety of all. With your continued support at home, we are looking forward to the remainder of the school year with your child!
