Any 7th and 8th girls interested in playing modified lacrosse this spring should attend the informational meeting on Monday, March 10th in the small gym, Gym F after school.
Attention all 8th graders interested in attending the March 21st Semi-Formal Dance. Would you like a FREE ticket to the dance? What about the chance to dedicate a song? You can enter a raffle for a free or discounted ticket to the dance. You can also enter a raffle to hear a song of your choice and dedicate it to someone special. During Flex this week, use your hard earned LiveSchool Bucks to enter raffles in these categories through Canvas.” Winners will be announced early next week.
Attention 7th & 8th grade girls! If you are interested in joining the Outdoor Track and Field team, there are informational sheets hanging up outside of room 269 (upstairs in Red Springs). Please grab a flier or see Ms. Grolley for more information. No tryouts, no cuts, everyone competes!!!
Be a Hero to our Heroes Fundraiser from March 10th through March 21st. The student council will be holding a fundraiser asking for basic supplies and goods from students of all grades. In the fundraiser “Be a hero to our heroes” although its entirely optional, we’re asking you to donate things like food, clothing, personal care items and more. If you want some ideas, you can look around the halls for flyers bolded with red, white and blue. In addition, one flex per grade will be awarded with a treat for donating the most items out of their peers. So, let’s show our respect for both people in battle and returning veterans. Let’s get donating Maple!
All 7th and 8th grade boys interested in joining the Modified Track Team, there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday the 12th, after school in Mr. Reilly’s Room, Room #282 in Red Springs. Hope to see you there!
Maple Ave’s Dodgeball tournament will be held on Friday March 14 from 5:45-8:45 pm in Maple’s main gym. Sign-up forms are located outside of the cafeteria and outside of room F180. Please only have one of your teammates grab one. Signups will take place before block 1 (on your way in the building) outside the cafeteria Monday through Wednesday, March 10, 11, and 12. Students will need to come to signups with 1 completed roster and $30 ($3 signup fee per player). Only 1 student needs to come with the form and money. Adults and non-playing students are welcome to come watch, and the cost is $5 for them to get in.
