Attention Seniors: Spring College Instant Admission Day with Hudson Valley Community College will be taking place on today in the Counseling Office. If you are interested in applying to HVCC, please stop by the counseling office to register.
Attention Juniors: Spring College Visits will take place in the Counseling Office beginning today and will go through May 13th. The list of colleges is available on Naviance. To register, log into your Naviance account via Clever. See the counseling office or the bulletin board outside the counseling office for more information.

The 6th annual Haiku contest has begun!
Submit to your English teacher or email haiku to Mr. Ubriaco. You can submit up to 5 haiku. Top Haiku wins $50 and spots 2 & 3 win journals and books of haiku. Deadline is April 30th. Good luck!!
Calling all Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors! Are you ready to make a difference and be the voice of your class? Student Council applications are now open! Pick up your application form in A212 today. Submit your completed application by April 25th to be considered for a position. Apply now!
The large courtyard will be open during lunches for students, weather permitting. Enjoy the sunshine.
Any PLTW Junior interested or signed up to take the Project Lead the Way Capstone course their senior year, there will be an informational meeting after school this Thursday, April 24th, in room D120 from 2:30-2:45 pm. If you are unable to attend, see Mr. Besler prior to the meeting.
Ultimate Frisbee Club
The Ultimate Frisbee Club will be meeting this Thursday, April 24 after school at 2:40pm for a pickup game! The club will meet on the grass fields to the left of the turf field behind the school. Come learn and play some ultimate! All are welcome!
Reminder to seniors: Graduation speech submissions are due to the main office by 4:00 p.m. this Thursday, April 24!
All NHS juniors will need to report for the election meeting this Thursday, April 24th in the TA right after school.
For NHS juniors and seniors – don’t forget that your second semester hours are due by this Friday and there will be a make-up meeting next Monday, April 28th that you should attend if you’ve missed any other mandatory meetings this year.
Junior/Senior Prom Ticket Sales
Prom tickets can be purchased online through MySchoolBucks or in-person during lunches or after school in room B214. The cost is $60 for an in-person ticket. If tickets are purchased online, please pick up your tickets in room B214 as soon as possible. Student IDs are required for all SSHS students attending the Prom. See Mr. Brown, Mrs. Visconti, or Ms. Miller if you have any questions.
