Club Meetings and Information October 10th, 2023
Maple Avenue Musical Club Is holding auditions for their production of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Auditions will be submitted online and are due by October 14th. Be sure to pick up the flyer in your house office or in the Main Lobby to find out how to audition for the show!
Are you interested in working on sound, lights, costumes, props or set moving for the Musical Club? The information on how to apply is available in the Main Lobby at the Beauty and the Beast display. Applications must be completed by October 14th.
If you have a passion for science and math and love competition, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Join our school’s Science Bowl Team and showcase your skills at the Regional Science Bowl competition. To learn more, attend our information meeting on Wednesday, Oct 11, after school in room O267. See Mr. Scrivo with any questions.
The first meeting of Jazz Band Club will be Thursday, Oct. 12 in the Band room from 6:30-7:30pm. You will need instruments at the first rehearsal. Students who already play instruments may still sign up; see Mr. Doyle in B106 for information.
There will be a Peer Mentor Meeting Wed at 2:30 in the Chorus Room. All students are welcome!
No Place for Hate will meet on Wednesday, after block 5 in room 257.
There is a student council meeting in Mrs. Kerls room on Wednesday right after school.
Our annual poinsettia and wreath sale has started! Forms have been distributed to your flexes and there are extra forms in each house office. All proceeds go back to the students of Maple Avenue, so SELL SELL SELL!!!!
Congratulations on their undefeated season and best of luck to Clare Dooley and Nazek, Gheith and the rest of the Girl’s Varsity Tennis team in their home Sectionals match today at the high school at 3:00!!
