Today is a “B” Day

Club Meetings and Information

  • Calling all Change Makers, Student Leaders, and Awesome Kids! Come join us for our first No Place for Hate meeting this Wednesday in room 257. We’ll talk about plans for Unity Day, strategize for the year and have a snack. Late busses are available. Can’t wait to see you there! 
     
  • There will be a Student Council meeting on Wednesday 10/9 in Mrs. Kerls room. 
     
  • Math Club will be meeting after school in room R232 on Wednesday, October 9th. All students grades 6-8 are welcome! 
     
  • Attention Maple Ave Ski Club members! You should be signing up online for your West Mountain lift pass this week in order to get the best price! Prices will go up after October 15. 
     
  • Chamber orchestra club auditions will take place this week after school on Thursday, October 10th and Friday, October 11th. Please make sure to sign up for an audition date outside of the orchestra room. Audition excerpts are also located outside the orchestra room. You will need a ride home! 
     
  • All 7th and 8th grade boys interested in trying out for Indoor Track, there will be an informational meeting on 10/9, immediately after school in Mr. Reilly’s room 282. Hope to see you there! 
     
  • Maple Avenue Middle School Musical Club is thrilled to announce our show for this year-Matilda! If you would like to audition or apply for a backstage position, please go to your house office and ask for an audition form or a backstage form. Auditions will be done online and will be accepted until October 12th. 
     
  • Have you ever fed a treat to a famous racehorse? Well now you can! Old Friends at Cabin Creek is opening their farm for Maple Ave. students and families on Saturday, October 19 from 12pm-3pm. Come pet some famous racehorses, feed them treats like peppermints and carrots, and hear their stories. They love having visitors!
