School Physicals for Winter Sports are on Thursday November 14th-Come to the Nurses office to see if you have an updated physical and sign up if needed.
Afternoon BOCES students: the afternoon BOCES buses will leave the high school promptly at 11:35 a.m. each day. Please make sure you have checked in with Mrs. Emery for attendance and go directly to the bus. The bus will not wait for you.
Good morning, The Red Cross will be hosting a blood drive at our school on November 12th. This is a great volunteer opportunity to help others in need. You can get 4 volunteer hours and a 10-dollar gift card for a successful donation. If you are 16 years old or older you are eligible to donate. The Drive will take place in the wellness center all day long. To sign up look for the posters hung up around the building, scan the QR code and sign up for a time slot. We will also be taking appointments during lunch all this week. If you have any questions, you can contact Julia Brobston. Thank you!
The yearbook does a section called “It’s All Relative. “If you have a sibling or parent in the building and would
like to be included, please see Mrs. Redman, with your family member, to have your photo taken. She is located in B114.
Ski and Snowboard Club
Last call for new members, there is still space on the second bus. The application window will close on Friday 8th of November. Anyone wanting to join the club should bring in a completed application as soon as possible. Application forms can be picked up in the library or found on the High School website club page. Club members, calling you, if you know anyone who wants to join but has not done so, please convince them to do it NOW. Think Snow.
FCCLA will be meeting on Thursday November 7th after school in room D202. We will be discussing our first community event!
The large courtyard is closed during the lunch blocks until spring. Please eat in the cafeteria.
The High School Counseling office is excited to inform you about the upcoming Class of 2025 SUNY Adirondack Direct Admissions Event, which will take place on Tuesday, November 19, at 10:30 AM in the high school auditorium. During this event, our students will have the opportunity to receive direct admission to SUNY Adirondack and learn more about the various programs available to them. Representatives from the college will be present, to guide students through the next steps in the admission process. For any student who requests to “opt out” of the event, they must contact the counseling office by November 8. Please share this information with your students and encourage them to attend. We look forward to seeing many of our seniors take advantage of this great opportunity.

It’s time for your annual food drive! Bring in any and all nonperishable food and hygiene products to your flex! The flex with the most food donations will win donuts at the end of the drive! Donations will be collected November 12th to November 22nd.

Mr. Goodson would like to congratulate any high school senior that will be committing to playing intercollegiate athletics. He will be holding a quick informational meeting today from 2:05-2:10pm in the athletic office to review procedures for National Letter of Intent Signing Day. The NLI Signing Day celebration will be held Nov. 13th at 3:30pm in the TA.
