Events

Saratoga Sustainability Fair on Saturday, April 5  The event will be held from 10am – 2pm at Skidmore’s Center for the Integrated Sciences – Glotzbach Atrium. The Sustainability Fair is a free community event celebrating sustainability awareness and opportunities. Come check out sustainable resources all in one spot and help make our community a more sustainable place to live and work.

Kids Build, Caregivers Connect: Sessions on March 25 and April 29 at 4:30-5:30pm at the Saratoga Springs Public Library Downtown. Neurodivergent children in preschool through grade 6 who enjoy Legos, magna tiles, blocks, and more – join us to build and create in an environment that embraces and celebrates all neurodiverse identities! While kids build, parents and caregivers will have the opportunity to connect with each other. Please register HERE.

Neurodiversity Club on April 8 at 4:30-5:30pm at Saratoga Springs Public Library downtown. Kids and teens in grades K-12 who are neurodivergent, plus their friends and families, are invited to join us at Neurodiversity Club. Have fun and make connections in a welcoming environment. Choose from various self-directed activity stations – do a craft, play a game, build with Legos, dance to music, and more. Please register HERE.

Breakthrough T1D Walk on May 18  The Breakthrough T1D Walk will be held at Druthers- Clifton Park on May 18. No organization does more to improve everyday life with T1D—from therapy development and access, to expanding research, advocacy, and community support. The Walk will take place rain or shine and starts at 9:30 am.  Learn more about how to get involved.

Activities 

Head Start – Now enrolling: Head Start is a free program for pregnant women and children through age 5 in Saratoga County. When a child is kindergarten eligible after attending Head Start, they have a better chance of succeeding, both by graduating high school and going to college or trade school. Head Start kids grow up to be anything they want to be! Complete an online application at lifeworksaction.org/head-start-programs 

Saratoga Miss Softball 2025 Spring Registration is Open. Calling all young athletes ages 4-17—it’s time to register for the 2025 Saratoga Miss Softball season! No residency requirements, just a great opportunity to learn, play, and have fun on the field. Sign up today: www.saratogamiss.com.

Camp Invention for Grades K-6  SSCSD will once again host Camp Invention.  This year the program will be held August 4-8, 2025  at Dorothy Nolan Elementary School. This year’s exciting new program inspires curiosity and helps kids build essential STEM skills through collaboration with friends and one-of-a-kind creative problem-solving experiences. Campers explore hands-on challenges and open-ended adventures designed to encourage new discoveries and bring big ideas to life!   Click here for more information or to signup.

C.R.E.A.T.E. Community Studios Programing At C.R.E.A.T.E., we help community members feel safe and connected in their social emotional growth and mental health journey, by making therapeutic expressive arts affordable and accessible to people of ALL AGES and abilities. We offer many types of expressive art programs at our Beekman Street studio, including our weekly Open Studios. We offer Teen Open Studio on Tuesdays from 3:30-5pm for ages 13-19, All Ages Open Studio on Wednesday’s from 10am-12pm and Kids Open Studio on Saturdays from 10:30am-12pm. Saratoga Rowing Association  Enjoy team sports and looking to try something new? Saratoga Rowing has Junior Competitive Programs for all athletes from 7th through 12th grade! Saratoga Youth Lacrosse Association Registration is now open for the 2025 spring season (April 7 – June 8). Open to all athletes in grades K-6. Beginners welcome! Saratoga Wilton Youth Baseball – Spring registration is now open!  Our
recreational baseball program is open to all players ages 4-15. We
offer five age appropriate divisions, each aiming to teach the basics
of the game while keeping baseball FUN.  Register by Friday, March 14

Youth All Recovery Support Group at The Prevention Council  The Youth All Recovery Support Group is an addiction support group for teens ages 14-17.  The group meets on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. at the Prevention Council Recovery Center at 125 High Rock Ave. in Saratoga Springs.
