Kid’s Night Out At Skidmore on Friday, Feb. 14 Kid’s Night Out is for children ages 5-14 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. at the Williamson Sports Center @ Skidmore College. The cost is $10 per child and it is a great opportunity for kids to come enjoy some recreation activities which include: swimming (bring your bathing suit), basketball, kickball, soccer, dodgeball, and many other sports provided by the great facilities at Skidmore College. All parents have to do is drop their children off and we take care of the rest. It is well supervised by our coaching staff and 25 baseball players. Exploring Engineering Day on February 22 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) with the support of the School of Engineering invites parents/guardians and their children in grades 3-5 to attend Exploring Engineering Day (EED) 2025. EED is a FREE half-day program that introduces children to different disciplines of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) through fun hands-on activities led by college students studying engineering. Pay Less for the Dress Event on February 28 and March 1 99.5 The River Pay Less for the Dress, the annual event that helps teens in the local community will expand to be a two-day event in 2025. “The River’s Pay Less for the Dress” features hundreds of gently used and new dresses donated by the community to be sold for $9.95 each at Proctor’s Key Hall, both on the evening of Friday, February 28 and during the day on Saturday, March 1.

C.R.E.A.T.E. Community Studios Programing At C.R.E.A.T.E., we help community members feel safe and connected in their social emotional growth and mental health journey, by making therapeutic expressive arts affordable and accessible to people of ALL AGES and abilities. We offer many types of expressive art programs at our Beekman Street studio, including our weekly Open Studios. We offer Teen Open Studio on Tuesdays from 3:30-5pm for ages 13-19, All Ages Open Studio on Wednesday’s from 10am-12pm and Kids Open Studio on Saturdays from 10:30am-12pm. STEAM Academy at Myers Education Center STEAM Academy is offered by the Enrichment Resource Center of WSWHE BOCES and are designed to provide students with opportunities to learn new skills in a fun, hands-on approach. Students must be in good academic and social standing with in their school. The program takes place on Thursdays for 6 weeks from 3:45 pm – 5:15 pm. Click here for more information about the program.
Saratoga Rowing Association Enjoy team sports and looking to try something new? Saratoga Rowing has Junior Competitive Programs for all athletes from 7th through 12th grade! Youth All Recovery Support Group at The Prevention Council The Youth All Recovery Support Group is an addiction support group for teens ages 14-17. The group meets on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. at the Prevention Council Recovery Center at 125 High Rock Ave. in Saratoga Springs.
