It is very important for our students to continue their academics while out on quarantine if they are not ill. When a student is placed on mandatory quarantine by SCPHS, the Quarantine Academic Access Plan is used to support a student’s academic success. Throughout a quarantine, students should log into SeeSaw or Canvas to access links, information from teachers, and complete any assignments. On day three of quarantine as confirmed by SCPHS, parents/guardians will receive an email with information about using iTutor and a schedule. iTutor attendance is required and will be recorded daily in all classes and reported back to your child’s school. iTutor will provide a student with skill practice and small group instruction appropriate for each grade level.

When the district receives information that a student is out on quarantine per Saratoga County Public Health Services (SCPHS) for 3+ days the following schedules apply:
- iTutor Instruction begins on day 3 of quarantine or as soon as possible after the district receives SCPHS documentation.
- Parents are called reminding them to check their email for iTutor schedule details once the district receives SCPHS documentation.
- Additional support for students with IEPs will be coordinated with individual families.
Student Responsibilities Include:
- Daily log in and participation in the support sessions (attendance will be taken and reported to the school per NYS requirement).
- Students will need to access SeeSaw (k-5) or Canvas (6-12) to complete their assignments in addition to receiving this live support.
- Students will turn assignments in to their teachers, not the tutor.
Before attending the first class:
- You must have access to the following:
- Computer or mobile device with internet access. The Chrome browser works best.
- Working camera.
- Headphones with microphone recommended but not required.
- Watch iTutor’s Orientation Video.

Login Credentials:
- Username: Student School Email Address (password will be shared via email).
- If you do not not know your email address, the format is typically: First initial last name@sscsd.net (jsmith@sscsd.net).
- For assistance with log in credentials, please email quarantine_tutoring@saratogaschools.org.
How to Navigate iTutor:
- Navigate to iTutor account login page.
- Log in using the credentials above.
- You will be brought to the iTutor dashboard which will show your upcoming classes.
- Please be on your dashboard five minutes prior to the start of class.
- When it is time to join your class, the blue “launch” button will appear. Click it when it appears.

Try refreshing your browser
- On a Windows Computer press the F5 key on the top of the keyboard.
- On a Mac Computer hold down the CMD Key while also pressing R.
Make sure your Chrome browser is up to date
- In the top right corner of Google Chrome, click the menu icon which looks like 3 vertical dots.
- Click help then about Google Chrome.
- Chrome will automatically update if it’s not on the latest version.
Reset Browser Settings
- In the top right corner of Google Chrome, click the menu icon and then click on settings.
- Next click on default browser. Near the bottom, click advanced settings and then Restore settings to their original defaults.
Clear Cookies, Cache & Browser History
- In Google Chrome, click the menu icon and then click on more tools.
- Next, click on clear browsing data. When the dialogue pops up, set the time range to all time.
- Make sure all boxes are checked (Browsing history, Cookies and Other Site Data) and clear the data.
- Make sure no tabs are left open, close the browser and then restart the browser.

- When on the login page on itutorlms.com click the “Forgot Password” link.
