Attention Seniors, if you have not met with your counselor for your senior conference, please follow up with them asap. 

 

College visits are wrapping up …. To register, log into your Naviance account. See the counseling office or the bulletin board outside the counseling office for more information. 

 

The Blue Streak Athletes are giving back to our community by holding a virtual food drive to support the Franklin Community Center from October 10-October 31st.  Anyone can scan the QR code found on the flyers throughout the building or send an email to your coaches.  Anyone can donate to help reach our goal of $2024 to combat food insecurity in our community.  Be sure to include Blue Streaks and which fall sport you want to represent in the donation comments.  Bragging rights are on the line to see which sport can raise the most money!  If you have any questions, please reach out to Nicky Hayes using nhayes@sscsd.net.

 

School Physicals for Winter Sports are on Thursday November 14th-Come to the Nurses office to see if you have an updated physical and sign up if needed. 

 

Afternoon BOCES students: the afternoon BOCES buses will leave the high school promptly at 11:35 a.m. each day.  Please make sure you have checked in with Mrs. Emery for attendance and go directly to the bus.  The bus will not wait for you.

 

Good morning, The Red Cross will be hosting a blood drive at our school on November 12th. This is a great volunteer opportunity to help others in need. You can get 4 volunteer hours and a 10-dollar gift card for a successful donation.  If you are 16 years old or older you are eligible to donate. The Drive will take place in the wellness center all day long. To sign up look for the posters hung up around the building, scan the QR code and sign up for a time slot. We will also be taking appointments during lunch all this week.  If you have any questions, you can contact Julia Brobston. Thank you! 

 

The yearbook does a section called “It’s All Relative. “If you have a sibling or parent in the building and would

like to be included, please see Mrs. Redman, with your family member, to have your photo taken. She is located in B114.

 

 The Military Club will be meeting on 10/31/24 in room G113. New members are always welcome. 

 

Pride Club will have a special meeting this Thursday after school. Good news? We’ve summoned Chappell Roan. Bad news? She’s big mad and we need to send her back. Join us down, down, down the road, down the Witches’ Road in B117.

 

 

 

Attention grades 9 through 11. Picture re-takes will be this Friday, November 1st.

If you were absent or wish to have your photos redone, please be sure to get your photos taken in the Lowenberg Auditorium. Thank you!! 

 

Ski and Snowboard Club

Last call for new members, there is still space on the second bus.  The application window will close on Friday 8th of November.  Anyone wanting to join the club should bring in a completed application as soon as possible.  Application forms can be picked up in the library or found on the High School website club page.  Club members, calling you, if you know anyone who wants to join but has not done so, please convince them to do it NOW.
