Back-to-School Information and Important Links For Families

Our district can’t wait to welcome all students back to school for the 2024-2025 school year!  The first day of school is Thursday, September 5.

  • Elementary teacher placement letters will be mailed on Monday, August 19
  • Middle and high school student schedules will be live in SchoolTool on Saturday, August 24.

School building websites are the best place to look for links to school supply lists, daily announcements, and events. 

ParentSquare

ParentSquare is a unified communications platform that provides a safe way for teachers, staff, and families to communicate, all in one place! We encourage all families to activate their ParentSquare account using your contact information on file with the district.

Sign in to ParentSquare from a web browser or download the ParentSquare mobile app to choose whether to receive push notifications, get automatic language translations for messages, and more. Download in iOS here, or download in Android here.   Click here for help using Parent Square.

LINQ Connect School Meal Menus

School Meal Menus  

Every student will receive one free breakfast and lunch for the 2024-2025 school year.  If you would like to add funds to a meal payment account for your student for other items, visit the LINQ Connect website OR send a check into your child’s school building. Visit the Food Services Department page for more information.

Bus Schedules Through My Ride K-12

Bus Schedules will be posted on August 29 to My Ride K-12.

My Ride K-12 is our online student transportation portal that enables parents / guardians to access their student’s transportation information and bus schedules. Your login is your student’s ID number.  The SSCSD Transportation Department encourages all families and students to continuously check the application as changes are made daily to all bus routes.  Students will receive new ID cards in September from their school building. SchoolTool

SSCSD uses SchoolTool as its student management system for parents and guardians to access their child(ren)’s grades, attendance, schedule, and other data.

SchoolTool Login Link – The login link is now the same for students, families, and staff.

Parents/guardians and students may also utilize the  SchoolTool Mobile App  to see information about student schedules, assignments, and attendance.
