Cody Conley, assistant principal at Saratoga Springs High School, has been appointed as the next Geyser Road Elementary School Principal. Mr. Conley replaced Dr. Michele Whitley who was appointed as the director of K-12 humanities and elementary instruction for the district.
“Cody has done a wonderful job serving as an assistant principal at our high school and is very excited for the opportunity to join the Geyser Road Elementary School community,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Michael Patton.
Mr. Conley has spent the past four years working as an assistant principal at Saratoga Springs High School, Prior to that, he served for eight years at Lake George Junior-Senior High School as the vice principal and as an elementary teacher and 21st Century Community Learning Center Director in the Glens Falls City School District.
Mr. Conley earned a bachelor’s degree in special education / elementary education from Plattsburgh State University in 2000 and a master’s degree in literacy from University at Albany in 2005. He holds a permanent certificate from New York State as a school district administrator, a teacher for pre-k, kindergarten, grades 1-6, and special education. In addition, he holds a professional certificate from New York State in literacy.
