Kindergarten

Items to be Labeled with Name

  • A large backpack- please label name on the inside
  •  Two 2-pocket folders (plastic folders last longer). Please label it with your child’s name and teacher.
  • A computer/iPad-compatible headphone set (placed in a labeled Ziploc bag). NO ear buds please (they are tricky for some kids to use and fall apart).
  • 1 pair of scissors (Kid’s Fiskars with metal blades are best).
  • Plastic bag with an extra set of clothing, including socks and underwear. Please label the bag and clothes with the students’ name. These clothes will need to be changed with the season.

Items with No Name Label

  • 2 boxes of standard 8 color crayons. Please NO assorted sizes (ex. No jumbo crayons or packs larger than 8)/colors (No glitter, neon etc.). Crayola brand is the best!
  • 1 box of dry erase markers.
  • 1 box of sharpened #2 pencils.
  • 3 large Elmer’s glue sticks (please no glitter).
  • 1 box of gallon and 1 box of quart size Ziploc bags.
  • 1 box of tissues.
  • 1-2 package(s) of baby wipes

First Grade

Items to be Labeled with Name

  • 1 Box of crayons
  • 1 Box of colored pencils
  • 2 Plastic pocket folders- 1 blue, 1 green, 1 free choice
  • 1 Pair of headphones (no earbuds or cordless ones please) Needs to be compatible with iPad
  • 1 Pencil/Crayon box- please no pencil bags with zippers or boxes with keys

Items with No Name Label

  • 12 #2 Pencils (Please Sharpen before sending in- Ticonderoga are preferred, please no specialty pencils)
  • 6 Glue sticks (no bottles please)
  • 1 Pack of dry erase markers-thin (at least 4, any color- expo preferred)
  • 1 Box of markers fine tip or wide tip
  • 1 Box of tissues
  • 1 Pack of baby wipes or wet ones
  • *Optional Plastic sleeves (will be used for writing binder and classroom games)
  • *Optional Box of quart Ziploc bags
  • *Optional Hand Sanitizer (Purell only)

Ms. Dawes Connections Class (Grades K, 1, and 2)

  • 1 plastic 2 pocket folder
  • 3 large Elmer’s glue sticks
  • 4 rolls of paper towels
  • 3 boxes of tissues
  • 4 packages of baby wipes
  • 6 dial foam pump soap 
  • *Plastic bag with an extra set of clothing, including socks and underwear, please label bag and clothes with students’ name. These clothes will need to be changed with the season

*If your child is in diapers or pull ups, please send in a supply.

Second Grade

  • One plastic pencil box…. average size
  • A special folder to use as your “go-home” folder
  • Three dozen sharpened pencils- Ticonderoga brand please, they last the longest!
  • Headphones
  • 1 average size box of tissues
  • 4 Expo low odor dry erase markers
  • 2 large glue sticks
  • Box of markers (10 pack)
  • Pop-top water bottle

If Possible, Materials to Share

  • Any extra amount of above items, especially headphones
  • Emergency snacks – saltines, pretzels, goldfish (nut free)

Third Grade

Please label these items with NAME

  • 1 set of headphones (in a Ziploc bag labeled with name)
  • 1 composition notebook
  • 1 pencil box (approx. 8.5 inches by 5 inches)

These items should not be labeled

  • 2 dozen sharpened #2 pencils (Ticonderoga if possible)
  • 1 pack of 5 low odor Expo dry erase markers
  • 2 extra-large Elmer’s glue sticks
  • 1 box of Puff’s tissues (Girls)
  • 1 canister fragrance free Wet Ones or generic equivalent (Boys)
  • 2 Pink Pearl large erasers
  • 1 highlighter
  • 1 pack of Post-it notes
  • 1 box gallon size Ziplock bags (Boys)
  • 1 box sandwich size Ziplock bags (Girls)

    Fourth Grade

    • 1 folder that will serve as your GO-HOME folder. (The laminated or plastic type lasts much longer for this purpose.)
    • 4 dozen sharpened pencils (Ticonderoga pencils last the longest!)
    • 2 Pink Pearl erasers
    • 1 six-quart clear storage container with lid (shoebox sized) to hold supplies (ex. Sterilite with approximate dimensions 14x8x5 inches)
    • 1 one-subject notebooks (labeled with name)
    • 1 wide-ruled composition books (100 sheets each)
    • 1 box of tissues to share
    • 1 box of colored pencils
    • 1 pencil pouch for desk (that is flat)
    • plain graham crackers (for the emergency snack fund)
    • water bottle (if you wish)
    • a set of headphones (in a Ziploc bag labeled with your name) to plug into laptop

    Fifth Grade

    • Pre-sharpened pencils (Ticonderoga pencils)
    • 2 packs dry erase markers (black, fine tip)
    • 2 Sharpies
    • Highlighters
    • 12-inch ruler
    • 1 pair of headphones
    • 1 pair of scissors clearly labeled with student name
    • Extra erasers
    • 1 BLUE one subject notebook for math labeled with student’s name and subject.
    •  4 bottom-pocket folders in solid colors – clearly labeled with student name and the following headings:
      • 1 BLUE (Math)
      • 1 RED (ELA)
      • 1 YELLOW (Science /Social Studies)
      • 1 GREEN (Go Home Folder)
    • Tissues
    • Glue sticks
    • Colored pencils
    • Markers
    • Post-it notes – any size
    • Ziploc bags (various sizes)
    • 1 Soft Cover pencil case clearly labeled with student’s name.
    • *Optional* community snack donations

    Ms. Rudd’s Connections Class (Grades 3, 4 & 5)

    • 2 packs black fine low odor dry erase makers
    • Crayola coloring markers
    • Crayola 24 box crayons
    • 2 pocket folders
    • 2 Clorox wipes
    • 4-5 boxes of tissues
    • 2 boxes of sandwich bags
    • 2 boxes of gallon bags
    • 2 packages of baby wipes
    • Plastic bag with an extra set of clothing, including socks and underwear (names on tags please).
    • If your child is in diapers or pull ups, please send them in.
    • We have morning and afternoon snack daily. Donations of animal crackers, goldfish crackers, Cheez-its, pretzels, or your child’s favorite snack are greatly appreciated for children who forget snacks.
