Introduction to Bagpiping Club will meet on Wednesday in P222. Let’s get ready for St. Patrick’s Day!
The Science Club will not meet today. Science Bowl will meet to prepare for the competition.
French Club will be collecting cash donations outside the cafeteria one last time on Tuesday, February 27 during lunch periods. If you make a donation of any amount, you get to sign a flag with your name to go up on the wall of fame for everyone to see.
Attention all 8th graders attending the Washington D.C. Trip: Your Medical Form B is due no later than March 1st. Please hand in your filled out form to either the main office, to Mrs. Vanderzyden in Room 124 or to Ms. Moore in Room 230. Please see the Canvas page for more information!
The next guitar club session will be on Thursday, March 7. Check your email for a list of songs we’ll be working on.
Thursday, February 29th is the LAST day to pre-order your 2023-2024 Yearbook. Use the link on the Maple Avenue Webpage under announcements or in Parent Square information to order online. No additional yearbooks will be for sale in June. Pre-Order now!
Knitting club is cancelled for Monday, February 26th-please make plans to go home or attend another club. We will meet again on March 4th.
Reminder to all Voice NYSSMA participants to stay after for voice club this Wednesday, Feb. 28 or make other plans with Mrs. Levin for a final rehearsal.
Join in some drumming fun with Dr. Green! Drumming is a healthy way to reduce stress and provides a wonderful, creative outlet. In a group setting, drumming helps to build communication and is simply a blast!! Open to all grades. No experience necessary!! We will meet today after school at 2:30 in room A118.
Maple Ave’s Dodgeball tournament will be held on Friday March 8 from 5:45-8:45 pm in Maple’s main gym. Students will be able to sign up as teams of 10 — teams must be comprised of more than one gender, players must all be in the same grade, and players must be Maple Avenue students. Sign-up forms are located outside of the cafeteria and outside of room F180. Please only have one of your teammates grab one. Signups will take place before block 1 (on your way in the building) outside the cafeteria March 4, 5, and 6. Students will need to come to signups with 1 completed roster and $30 ($3 signup fee per player). Only 1 student needs to come with the form and money.
