We are excited to announce that Dana Bush will be the next principal of Division Street Elementary School and Courtney Jablonski will continue to lead Dorothy Nolan Elementary School as principal.
Mrs. Bush has been serving as the interim principal at Division Street during Dr. Miller’s leave of absence and has done an outstanding job in this role. Dr. Miller served as the principal of Division Street Elementary School for 21 years and we thank her for her outstanding service to our students, families, and staff. We wish her well in retirement!
Mrs. Bush brings a wealth of experience to this position, having previously served as both a principal and assistant principal at Dorothy Nolan Elementary School, and as a teacher at Geyser Road Elementary School. Mrs. Bush has thoroughly enjoyed her time at Dorothy Nolan and welcomes the opportunity to continue to share her passion for education with the Division Street community.
As student enrollment declines across the district, and in this case, specifically at Dorothy Nolan, the model of leadership at Dorothy Nolan will return to having one principal and one assistant principal. This structure will also allow our district to continue to hire and develop leadership from within our school system. Ms. Jablonski will continue to serve as the principal at Dorothy Nolan and she is very excited to continue the outstanding work that the team at Dorothy Nolan has accomplished.
The district will soon begin the recruitment process to fill the assistant principal position at Dorothy Nolan Elementary School.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our school community.
