Welcome to Saratoga Springs High School! Whether you are a new or returning student, we are excited to have you here with us. Saratoga Springs High School has a tradition of excellence in all areas. At our high school, we encourage students to take full advantage of the extensive learning opportunities that are offered. Through our courses and wide range of co-curricular activities, the administration, faculty, and staff fully expect that our students will develop their abilities, exhibit responsibility, and value learning.
Attendance
Regular and on-time attendance at school is a critical factor in supporting student achievement and success. Parents /guardians are required to provide an excuse within a two-week period of the absence (ten school days), indicating the reasons for any absence, tardiness, or early departure from school.
Students that are not in their classrooms by 7:49 am are considered late and will be marked absent by their teacher.
If your student is absent: Please email highschool_attendance@saratogaschools.org or reply to Parent Square that you will receive around 10:40am.
If you know your student is going to be tardy: Please have them bring in a note or you may email the high school attendance at highschool_attendance@saratogaschools.org. *Please note that we are unable to excuse any tardy or absence via phone call or voice mail.
If your child needs to leave campus during the day: Send your child in with a note that they will bring to their assigned administrator’s office. They will confirm the note with you via phone. You can also email the administrator’s secretary the note to leave campus. They will confirm the email with you via phone call. Your child will pick up a yellow pass to leave campus after confirmation and can meet you at the pickup loop. Below are the email addresses that you will email your child’s notes to.
