The Saratoga Springs High School Drama Club presents Legally Blonde the Musical on Thursday, March 6 at 7 p.m., Friday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, March 8 at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The show will take place in the Loewenberg Auditorium at Saratoga Springs High School.
Based on the 2001 film, the show follows Elle Woods from UCLA Delta Nu Sorority girl to Harvard Law School graduate. Elle follows her ex-boyfriend Warner, who dumped her because he needs a serious wife, to Harvard Law School. She quickly learns that earning a Law degree is significantly more difficult than her fashion merchandizing degree from UCLA was. Ultimately, we watch Elle’s transition from loving Warner to loving the law and realizing she is much more than her outward appearance.
