Dear SSHS Students and Families,
We hope that you are enjoying a wonderful summer vacation. There is still much summer left, but on campus, we are busy preparing for the return to school in September.
In preparation for the 2022-23 school year, we are writing to communicate changes in the schedule at SSHS. The Time and Space Committee is a group of teachers, support staff, administrators, parents, and students that worked together to gather feedback from students and staff in the previous school year to evaluate the schedule. The committee learned what worked well and what needed adjustments. We made changes to the schedule that met the needs of all members of the school community. The following major changes being made to the schedule are as follows:
- Designation of days is now ABCD
- Returning to the previous scheduled start time, with the first bell ringing at 7:47 a.m.
- Teacher collaboration time on Wednesday is being moved to the afternoon, with students being dismissed at 1:47 p.m.

For your reference, student schedules will be opened for viewing in SchoolTool on Saturday, August 27.
