Stacey Moulton, District Coordinator of Special Education for the Saratoga Springs City School District, has been appointed as Director of Pupil Services for the District effective September. Mrs. Moulton replaces Dr. Darlene King, who is retiring in August.
The Director of Pupil Services is responsible for the oversight of the District’s Special Education program including services provide to students attending non-public schools, as well as Section 504 Accommodation Plans for in-district students, school health services for district and non-public schools, services for English Language Learners (ELLs), and related services such as school psychology, school social work services, occupational and physical therapies, and speech therapy services.
Prior to working for the District, Mrs. Moulton served as a Supervisor of Special Education, elementary summer school principal, behavior specialist, and special education teacher for the Ballston Spa School District. During her five years in Saratoga, Mrs. Moulton has served as Committee on Special Education Chairperson and District Coordinator of Special Education at all levels K-12. She holds a bachelor’s degree in special education and elementary education from the University at Buffalo. She holds NYS certification as a Pre-K-grade 6 teacher, as a K-12 special education teacher, and as a School District Leader.
