Attention grade 6 and 7 students: Join us for a Virtual STEM Information Night to explore the exciting course options in math, science, and technology at the middle school. This live event will cover program pathways information about math and science acceleration opportunities. The livestream will be posted on ParentSquare and the Maple website.
The Maple Avenue Musical Club proudly announces its production of Matilda featuring 73 talented students from Maple Avenue! The show will take place on Friday, February 7 at 7:00 PM; Saturday, February 8 at 1:00 PM & 7:00 PM. Tickets are on sale now through the QR code on the posters placed around school or online. Tickets will also be available at the door. The cost is just $5 for students. We hope to see you there!
In honor of the Super Bowl this weekend with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, this Friday will be Jersey Day! It’s okay if you’re not a football fan – wear YOUR favorite jersey from your favorite sports team, or your favorite team’s colors! OR, for those Taylor Swift fans here at Maple Ave, dress from your favorite era!

Attention Grade 6 and 7 Students Interested in Accelerated Math and/or Science: Testing will occur on March 5 for science and March 20 for math. Your parents or guardians need to register you by Friday, February 28, using the ParentSquare form. As a reminder, grade 7 students already in accelerated math and/or science do not take the placement tests.
Math Club will not be meeting this week. The next Math Club meeting is on Wednesday, 2/12 in room R232.
Any boy interested in playing Modified Lacrosse should attend a very important informational meeting on Monday February 10th at 2:25 in Gym B. You should plan on having a ride home as the meeting will be done by 3:00. Schedules and other important information will be provided. See Coach Durant with any questions.
On Thursday, February 6th you will have the pleasure of seeing our Maple students in action when they perform select scenes from the musical, Matilda. Performances will take place during grade level flexes only.
